When I raise funds for a charity, I make a point of being a donor, too. In my mind, It’s not fair for me to ask people to give a cause I am not personally invested in. Last year a very generous donor gave $1,000 to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society just before the Chicago Marathon. I was amazed, humbled… and inspired. So much so that I have pledged to match up to $1,000 in gifts for my fundraising for the DeGregorio Family Foundation, funding research that is targeted to stomach and esophageal cancer.
The deadline for this effort is tonight, and there are still eligible dollars available. If you give a dollar, and I give a dollar, my company will also give a dollar. That means your donation of $10 becomes $30. $25 becomes $75. You choose how much I spend. It’s hard to find that kind of impact these days! With just a few hours left, there is still time to increase the size of my donation – just click here to become part of the team!
My sincere thanks – I look forward to matching my full pledge amount!
